The End of Frosh Week

Hey guys,

Frosh week at U of C came to a close today with the Dinos Kickoff football game in which we beat UBC 30-25. It was pretty epic.

So all week we've been being introduced to ways to get involved on campus and make the most out of our university career and I've already come out of it with a few things.

Number one: I've joined a club. I joined the Scribe and Muse club which is basically a multifaceted literature club. I've joined for the Book Club and the Creative Writing circle.

Number two: I went on a tour of the campus media department. We have a TV station, a radio station and a magazine. I'm trying to decide between getting involved with the radio and working my way up to eventually being on air, or joining the magazine as a proofreader and possibly as a writer. I would love to do both, but I can't spread myself too thin, I do have my studies to focus on after all.

I'm also planning on joining the belly dance club when clubs week happens in two weeks here.

I'm really excited to get going with my classes on Monday, but even so I still have one weekend of freedom left. Saturday I'm just going to chill and Sunday we're going to the lake! It will be awesome!
